Greetings!
This weekend I attended the "Holy Spirit Fix My Life" Conference, and I am telling you…I am totally and completely refreshed. This refreshing goes all the way from the top of head to the soles of my feet. I feel renewed. I think that’s how it should be when you come away from being in the presence of the Lord. You should feel refreshed…brand-new.
I really needed to let go….for real. I have said it many times, but I have this bad habit of thinking I can fix what is wrong in my life by trying harder, reading more, eating less…something—when what I really needed was to spend more time with my Father. Praise be to God for always knowing exactly what we need. He knows we have a hard time letting go of the things in our lives, and He allows us to go as far as we can, then He sends us a lifeline. This weekend...was my lifeline.
Have you ever attended a conference, a retreat, or a church service, and the preacher will say that if you leave out like you came in, it’s your own fault. Well, this weekend I know what that means, and something definitely broke in the spirit world. I feel a new sense of purpose. I feel stronger…like I can take on the world.
All throughout that conference I could hear God speaking. Preacher after preacher confirmed what God had spoken to me. At one point, the host said that God had orchestrated that whole weekend for somebody in the room. I don’t know who else it may have been for, but I know it was for me...
My prayer today is that if there is anything in your life that is keeping you bound that you will let it go, and be free...maybe for the first time. In the name of Jesus.
