Stand Firm...

Greetings!

Today's phrase is "Stand Firm."

That was the theme for today's message at church. God knows exactly what you need and when to present it to you. At another time I may not have received the revelation I did on today. It was as if God used my pastor to peek into my heart and speak to that place in me that has really been taking a beating lately. And just when I was at the point where I felt that I couldn't take not one more day...He sent me a lifeline. If that were not enough....we had an evening service and the pastor who spoke told us to "Hang in there." Ugh....God is so intentional...

I know without a shadow of a doubt that God will work all things together for our good (Rom. 8:28). So, we just have to wait on Him. I know that He is the lifter of our souls. I know that He will fight our battles. I know that He will make all of our crooked places straight. And, I know that everything He allows is to help us get to that place He needs us to be. I know I have said that before, but sometimes we have to keep reminding ourselves that there is a reason for all of the things we have to go through.

This season has been rough for a lot of us, but when we come through this season God is going to bring us out into that wealthy place and I'm not just talking about financially. We will have more love, more power, more faith, more joy and more peace. Claim it for yourself. Believe it for yourself. Receive it for yourself.
In the name of Jesus.

Until next time...

Be blessed

Transformed

Greetings!

This past weekend, I was honored to speak at a women's day program. I have to admit that I was a little nervous. Actually, I was a LOT nervous. It's one thing to speak in front of a crowd who knows nothing about you, but it's altogether different when you are speaking in front of people you know and who have known you all of your life. Also, I live in another state. So, I not only had to speak in front of people who knew me, I was coming from the outside back in.

That's where the title of this blog post came from. I spoke about living a transformed life. It's time for us to stop focusing on the things of the world, and focus more on what God has for us. I believe that God was in control and the people of God were blessed.

God has a way of working everything out for our good. He knows exactly what we need when we need it. He has ordered our steps and everything that happens to us is getting us to where He needs us to be. Because here is the thing...God's plan will go forward and we will get to where He wants us, but it's up to us how long it takes us to get there.

Being transformed means that I know it's not all about me and that there is another plan in place and it says that I am available to whatever and wherever God leads. Sometimes, that is going to be hard. We are not always going to like where God is leading. He will take us so far out of our comfort zones that we won't even remember where our comfort zone used to be. He will also correct our behavior when we need it. He loves us, but the Bible says He chastens those He loves. So know that even though He loves us, He will check us when we need it!

Until next time...
