Greetings!
It is hard to believe that next month is Thanksgiving. This year has just seemed to have sped by...
In a way, I am a little disappointed. Not in the way time keeps moving, but in the way, I have used my time. I had such plans at the beginning of the year. There were things that I was going to get done this year that I had been putting off in previous years. I was going to write a new book, and this time I was going to market it better. I was going to launch a new ministry/business and I was going to get my body in shape...for real this time.
Ok...so, I at least did one of those things. I did write a new book...
Well, actually it is a journal. It was inspired by the fact that all of us have stories to tell. Most of us just believe that no one is interested. The thing is that somebody out there needs to hear it. Someone needs to know how to get through, hold on....or even how to let go.
God says that your life matters. Your experiences were predetermined just for you...way before the world began. God knows how to get the best out of us and He will not let anything happen that He will not use to grow us.
So, I know that although it may seem like nothing happened year...there was some growing going on. If nothing else, I learned that my plan doesn't mean much if God is not in it. I know that I can make all the plans I want, but if God is not ordering my steps, I won't get very far. And I know that He has a plan for me and I am not going to have to struggle to make it happen.
