Greetings!
What an awesome day...
Today, my ministry team spent the morning at one of the local rehabilitation facilities. Our church service was so inspired. We always pray that Holy Spirit will run the show, and He did just that. There is nothing like being in a place where everyone is on one accord. Those people came to hear a word from the Lord today, and the preacher did not disappoint...
Her message was from Matthew 17:20, "And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." It really resonated in my spirit, because that's what my post was about last week. It takes faith to believe. It's not easy to hold on when everything around you is going bananas.
We are in a time where easy is the word of the day. But everything is not going to be easy, and it wasn't meant to be. If we never have a trial...if we never have troubles...we would never know what we are made of. God uses those times to grow us. Those times when all we want to do is run and hide...give us our testimonies. We learn more about our character during our times of trouble than we would any other way.
What really stuck with me about today's message though was when the preacher said we have no control over what comes into our minds, but we have the ability to hit the "delete" button. We do not have to meditate on everything that comes into our minds. When issues with jealousy, envy, anger, low self-esteem, or unforgiveness come...hit delete. God has given us the power to trample over the enemy...we just have to believe it.
Until next time...
Be blessed
