Greetings!
I
am not sure what part of the world you are living in, but on the east coast, we
have been experiencing an interesting winter. One day, it is raining and º50
degrees, the next it is snowing and º3 degrees, and even though it can be
inconvenient…I would not have it any other way. I live in a place where I can
enjoy all four seasons. I like knowing that in the summer, I can look forward
to sitting under a tree enjoying the breeze while sipping on a nice cold glass
of iced tea, and at some point during the winter months—there will be snow.
Our lives are like the seasons. To me, snow is just a
sign that spring is on the way. We will have peaks and valleys, but with each season,
with each trial, there will always be some residue left behind…something that
says a new day is here. God allows the
seasons in our lives to prepare us for what lies ahead. He wants us to know
that anything is possible with Him, and that if we keep our minds fixed on Him,
He will show us the way. Through the Lord, we learn that if we just hold on…with
each trial, there will be a triumph.
The promise I want to deal with today is the promise that
nothing is too hard for our God. The scripture says, “Behold, I am the LORD,
the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27) As
difficult as it seems sometimes, know that you are special in God’s eyes, and
He loves you passionately. Jesus Christ proved that at the cross, and God
wouldn’t have sent His Son if you and I were not worth it. We just have to believe
it….
Until next time…
Be blessed
